Odyssey reproduces all 1,174 station identities in the official Q4 Detailed Stats workbook and reconciles tested provincial and national totals. SAPS separately states that the release draws on 1,175 police stations, so one source-count discrepancy remains documented rather than inferred away.

Ranks use current reported station counts. Equal counts share the same competition rank. Categories overlap conceptually, so Odyssey does not sum the displayed rows into a synthetic total or score.
Interpretation guardrail
This profile shows reported incident counts for one SAPS station row. Odyssey does not convert those counts into a safety or danger classification, and does not derive a station-level per-capita crime rate because a defensible population denominator for each police-station geography is not part of this dataset.

Source integrity & methodology ↓
Crime values come from the official SAPS Q4 2025/26 Detailed Stats workbook (Jan–Mar 2026) and its matched Q4 2024/25 (Jan–Mar 2025) station counts. Odyssey reconciles 1 174 workbook station rows.
SAPS states that the release covers 1 175 police stations while the detailed workbook exposes 1 174 station-level statistical identities. The one-station difference remains unresolved; Odyssey does not invent a missing row. The SAPS contact directory is identity context only, not crime-value evidence.
