Odyssey displays the exact 2025/26 minister package from Government Gazette 53965 as a historical remuneration reference. A Presidency statement dated 20 January 2026 says a 3.8% National Executive increase takes effect from 1 April 2026, while Gazette 53965 itself states the published schedule is effective 1 April 2025. M4 rechecked the Independent Remuneration Commission: its current Executive determination and annual recommendation are both labelled 2025-26, and no 2026/27 Executive determination or recommendation is listed. Odyssey treats the official source-cycle/date mismatch as unresolved, does not derive a 2026 rand package, and does not assume either official source contains a typo.
